AsianML - 2/16/2009 4:25 PM So I drove to the dealer today only to find out that they don't have the particular hoses that my ML uses (and I assume others close to my VIN) in stock. They have plenty for other MLs though. I have to call tomorrow morning and see if they have it by then, then come in. Oh and there was a white ML320 that came into the service bay right after me. I assume they came to get the recall done too.

The hoses on my 2002 and 1999 are identical because I replaced them both a year ago (didn't want to drive to Huntsville and wait to have it fixed when a hose only cost me $38.00 each). I don't know why yours would be different than any other ML.

I don't know. The ML that came in after me had no problems. Anyway, I went today and finally got it done. The service sheet says it was the lower hose they replaced. Was the first recall for upper or lower?

All of them have been for the hose clamp up until the previous lower hose. This is the second recall for the lower hose.
