Daytime Running Lamps

Does an 05 ML350 USA version have the ability to have the DRL's turned on?

If they can be turned on, what are the steps?

RE: Daytime Running Lamps

This is a requirement in Canada, not the U.S. This feature would have to be activated by the dealer via the AAM. I'm not sure you'll find a U.S. dealer that will do this for you but you can try.

All Activity Module. It controls all the options and functions on the ML. The dealer will have to access it to change your lights over to daytime running.

RE: Daytime Running Lamps

We looked in the AAM. There was no DRL option. There were options for auto setting for coming on without being set to auto but that didn't work. Any other ideas what it would be under? Thanks.

I've heard of Canadians buying U.S. models and having it done. The AAM is the only place it could be. DTRL should be the code through Star diagnostics. Relays K5 and K22 will most likely have to be replaced since the U.S. models have relays with a 'jumper' in them. I hope this helps since I've never done this.

Thanks for the info.

I was hoping it was a simpler solution.
