Someone hit me and I have a smashed door mirror signal lens.

Does anyone have any instructions on how to dismantle the door mirror
unit to replace the lens. I understand that some dealers have done this
for free when an indicator lens has cracked due to MB overtightening screws etc in manufacture.

But since my damage is due to an accident, they want to charge me (£90 + vat per hour)
so I thought I'd do it myself.
