Surprisingly, with conservative driving i usually average about 20mpg.
Well, I only have a 350 and I don't have the AMG package. Also, I must admit that city driving is much more fuel-consuming. As a rule, I never drive my car in the city. I live downtown and I walk to work. My SLK is essentially a leasure car and I mainly use it for road driving. So far, I have kept city driving to a minimum and my average fuel consumption since day one (August 23rd, 2005) is 8,5litre/100km or 33mpgUK/28mpgUS. My car has about 10 500km/6,500miles on the meter. I am one happy camper! |

I walk 30 minutes to work everyday. I am glad I can do it, it keeps me in great shape. I would love to drive my SLK to work but I am afraid my slim figure would go straight to hell!!! |

I think this is an excellent performance for a 55. This car has quite a powerful engine under the bonnet. You must be a very good driver! |
