One day you will have a wasp fly in and stick to you and let me tell you its not fun to be going 50mph and having a big ass wasp land on you. Ok so are hitting the A/C button so it turns red? It says like A/C rest that will turn off the A/C. But I will say the 2002+ Mls A/C units are crazy and stupid compared to the pre 2002. I will admit the dials look better on the 2002+ but the rest of it seems to have a mind of its own and doesn't always want to do what the users wants it to do, vs the more mechanical pre 2002 A/C controller that has to do what you want it to do since you move the dial you move the parts.

OMG, the same think happened to me. There was a bee that flew in my car a couple of weeks ago. Lucky I was not going to fast, but I was in a parking garage. It took me like 15 minutes to get this stupid bee out of my car without killing it, and having all its guts all over my dashboard. I did end up getting it out of my car unharmed. whew!

I kept throwing napkins at the bee, but nothing happened, so then I turned on the heater, to piss him off by heating him up. That didn't work either. So I tried a combination of the two, and it worked. Luckily, there wasn't really anyone in the parking garage, but yeah, you did get the situation somewhat correct. Lot of stress, and a lot of wasted time.

Plus, I think someone ran that bee over after I saved it. O well bee, That's what you get for messing with a Mercedes-Benz. Edited by 1996_S500 5/21/2006 8:52 PM

Plus we have the nice 2 aux fans that spin before the radiator so that chops up the bugs since you get nice torn up bugs that stick to the radiator lol I am anxious to see if I still have bee parts on my radiator I am going to check when its light out tomorrow

There are never too many responses at my forums, as there are in the 163 forum. So did you ever figure out what was wrong with your A/C?

It will be cool for a little while because the evaporator is still cool and there will be some moisture on and around the evaporator inside your dash. It will take a couple minutes for that to evaporate then you should be getting just straight outside air.Okay, so when we want outside air, we either open the windows or turn off the A/C, but keep the fan on. Whenever we do that, it still keeps blowing cold air, not moderately cold, or warm moist air. What am I doing wrong?
