Hello..guys..it's been a while................

l've been experiencing a squeaking noise..(this is a surprise)..from my instrument panel..l think it is the front vent along the window....The long one that runs from one side to the other for defrosting the front windshield...l have already put felt on the outside, because of the plastic cowling rubbing against the windshield.....so do l have to remove this vent to apply felt as well.....How does this pop off

On mine half of the glue was bad so half of it was lose so I just simply used some crazy glue and put the sucker back on. My guess would be to use a heat gun or blow dryer on very low setting to loosen the glue.

Carlos ,According to MB you just use the plastic wedge to pry it up!

PS: Keep an eye on the WIS section ... I posted loads of pdf's ... This comes from the "Instrument Panel - remove&install"

RE: Hello..guys..it's been a while................

The WIS section has a noise post! One of them was the noise that seemed to come from the dash but was in fact the hindges of the hood!.... The WIS section has a post about re-inforcing it!.....

It could even be the blower , or rubbing of some disstorted ducts!  ... my WIS posts also have the complete dash (Instrument panel) internals!.
