1985 W460 300GD 4 speed OM617 original condition

I love my 300GD but just replaced it with a 350GD.
Elligible for import into the US.
My 300GD has the original OM617 normally aspirated 3.0 liter 5 cylinder diesel engine.
88 PS - rock solid and like the turtle and the hare it will always get you there but not at the speed of lightning!.
It is a cast iron block with a cast iron head which is the best combination.
The gearing is 44:9 which is a 4.90 gear ratio. Great off roader and decent all rounder.
The transfer case has a 2:1 further reduction in the W460s.
The 4 speed manual transmission (replaced all shift bushings) and an OM617 gets an easy 24 to 25 mpg on the highway. This is why I love the OM617.
It runs any form of WVO or waste oil with little or no mods.
I have a 1 year rolling average of about 11.4 liters per 100 kms - I'm in Canada (23 to 24 mpg - imperial gallons that is) which is probably the best fuel economy for a 5300# dry weight 4x4 with 4.90 gearing.
My 300GD currently has 213,000 kms on it.
It has a factory replacement transmission by Mercedes likely 5 - 10 years old.
It is all original OEM with no accidents but was repainted in Germany about 6 years ago with the original colour.
It has the 9 seater option (no seat belts for the very back 2 sideways bench seats. These are really only good for kids.
It has all 4 power windows, OEM manual throttle fine adjuster, a low end Sony AM/FM CD, replacement GWagen bucket and bench seats in mint condition (with seat covers to keep them in great shape), 1 year old front brake rotors and pads.
I have maintained it meticulously, oil changes at the latest every 5,000 kms in the last 5 years.
The history in Germany is impossible to verify - it doesn't matter what anyone tells you.
I installed 4 new high quality coil springs (German supplier + 50 mm lift)
4 new oil dampened ProComp aftermarket shock absorbers.
It has a 2" receiver trailer hitch. European trucks come with a 50mm ball and need to be modified.
All filters and fluids are less than 3 years old. (both diffs, transmission, transfer case, clutch fluid, locker fluid, coolant, brake fluid)
(Obviously engine oil is a month old - not 3 years old)
Comes with the map reading light assembly.
Extra floor mats, some filters etc.
My 300GD has hydraulic locking differentials front and rear.
Manual locks on all 5 doors.
It has a few minor rust spots but nothing major and nothing structural. You have to see the vehicle for yourself. GWagens have known areas of concern as you all likely know.
Frame is rock solid.
Tires on it currently are the ones that will come on it: Bridgestone Blizzaks, P235/65R17 with about 50% tread left. They look great and handle better.
Comes with the Warn XD9000 winch.
Comes with factory brush bar.
Has clear headlights.
I am listing my original condition 300GD for $14k ONO - no low ballers.
My old 300GD has a lot of life left in it. It has about $25k spent on it in total since in Canada -  it was imported from Hamburg.
PM me if seriously interested.  Located in Vancouver Canada. For sale locally as well.
It is air cared (smog check) in BC for those people in Vancouver.
Cheers, Roman

After a few questions and requests I have attached some engine bay pictures.

Interior pictures to follow when I have some time next week as I am out of town this weekend.

Re: 1985 W460 300GD 4 speed OM617 original condition

i just picked it up from the last owner you sold it to and it now lives in berkeley, california.

it's exciting to see it's previous life photos when it was younger and beautiful.

i should fix those rust parts are they are starting to look a little bad.
