Here's why they cost 2x what you'd pay for an A-B-C chemical one at Lowes/HomeDepot: They retail for upwards of $170 new, these are gently used (but fully-charged, I just mean they're not brand new). Halon 1211 is a liquified gas, pressurized with nitrogen, which discharges as a vapor causing no cold or static shock and no impairment of the operator's vision. This "CLEAN" agent quickly penetrates difficult to see and hard to reach areas and leaves no residue. It is recommended for protection of delicate, sensitive and expensive computers, electrical equipment, tapes and film, automotive and aircraft engines, laboratory chemicals and equipment. Quality industrial grade hardware, "CLEAN" agent, light weight, good discharge range and excellent fire extinguishing ability make these the preferred extinguishers for the computer, electronic, telephone, banking and aircraft industries. Please email me at palogan(at)gmail.com, I accept paypal, check, cash and gas-cards. Andrew Edited by tj4tj4 4/6/2011 4:16 PM

Fully charged with indicator dial, I'll post pix when I get home (also on the G-specific string).

Here is good enough; although a 5 lb unit is probably bigger than necessary for vehicle carry but a good size for a home garage or workshop.

Just my $0.02 worth. | ||
