Re: Oregon Farm Days

I currently have a removable cast. In 3 weeks they should have me walking a bit with no cast. So hopefully by mid June..... I need to build up the muscles in my calf again.

Mark,
Been there, done that, got the T-shirt etc. Do what they tell you in PT; it will bring tears to your eyes but its worth it. Good luck.

Re: Oregon Farm Days

Thanks man.

Luckily I have yet to have ANY pain from the achillies tear, from the time it popped till now. So I'll take a few tears if it gets me walking normal again.

Are you going to Dai's in June?

Mark,

how come you have the 500000km on your stick......but never take the Diesel Beast out of the garage?

Flying mileage doesn't count......I better check that at the next Bund-Meeting

See ya'll there

I think he's referring to how far he's hit the old tennis ball.

Re: Oregon Farm Days

At the last Southeastern Bund Cake committee meeting, we discussed this very thing. I confessed to the gang; Deiter, Werner und Max (Heidi was not there as she was out picking Edelweiss) that the 500,000 km badge came from a special 240D with a 5-speed that I kept for a number of years and sold it for what I bought it for. The guy liked the uniqueness of a high mileage diesel Mercedes.

If I did not have to work, I would love to make a cross the nation trip.

RE: Oregon Farm Days

We'd be happy to rough-up your employer for you to get more time off....so you could drive one or both of your G's to Oregon. Wait, you are self employed, I bet?

No, but it is on my bucket list. We are going to StarTrails in Ouray, CO in August however.

Re: Oregon Farm Days

Does anyone know how to get in contact with Dai (aside from sending a PM)?

I sent off my "RSVP" to the farm and not the San Rafael PO Box. I need to see if I can re-register late.

I really want to be sure I am registered - it's my fathers day present: an outing for my father.

Contact Steve Smith or Mike Serpe They can help you out.

More than likely if it went to the farm then you have been counted.

Additionally check Steve's first post: http://www.pointedthree.com/disc/forums/showthread.php?tid=18180&po...
