I need more space so the g has to go to make room for the unimog.  The mog has just gone through the Panama Canal so I really need to get off my butt and start selling...

borderlinebc.ca/borderlinebc/offroad/ForSale

 I'm asking $14,500obo.

Lots of pictures of varying vintages spread over all the G-amboree links on the web site above.

Feel free to e-mail, phone or PM if you have any questions for me.

RE: FS: 1986 LWB 280GE

I will admit that the mog is getting a little help with the canal and the Pacific and Atlantic bits on either side...

My truck's ride

The picture was taken a couple days before before the truck was loaded in Hamburg, and it is only a couple weeks away now.

Word to the wise, even though the specs clearly show that the truck will be less than eight feet wide, the specs say nothing about any aftermarket running boards that may stick out.

Truck ready for a ride

Those sixish bolts cost about 350EUR to remove but that was a bargain because the extra 3cm width would otherwise have cost an extra 2,500EUR.

RE: FS: 1986 LWB 280GE

I'm not really interested in doing that right now as I'm hoping that selling the truck as a complete package will help get it sold in a semi-timely fashion.

Having said that, so far there hasn't been too much interest in the truck but a few different people have expressed an interest similar to yours. I guess half popular is better than not popular

I'll keep you in mind if I relent and decide to separate the rack/tent and awning but that is only likely if I find a buyer that doesn't want the those items.

Have you seen this craigslist ad? makes me chuckle every time.

RE: SOLD

The G has sold and the unimog is in the driveway just waiting on an official english translation of some documentation for insurance purposes.

Re: FS: 1986 LWB 280GE

I have seen a same unimog like yours for sale in Belgium. The price was reasonable for such a big piece of unimog.
Seems to be very big for off roading

good luck with the G
