July 16, 2011 G-Event in San Francisco Bay Area

Upcoming event for July that clubgwagen.com is co-sponsoring with Mercedes Club of America www.mbca.org

July 17, 2011

Join us for a fun filled one-day event in the Los Gatos mountains on a 23 acre ridgetop private property which has been graciously offered by a club member to host this off-road event and BBQ gathering for G and ML/GL class vehicles. The event will include up to 40 vehicle participants, once we reach 40, event registration will be closed. There is a small fee to attend, and you will have to sign an insurance waiver and possibly show your insurance card (mbca rules) upon arrival to the event if you want to drive on the course.

The course has been pre-cut using a tractor across varied off-road terrain spanning 23 acres. The views (if no fog) from this property are amazing. Not only can attendees watch from the picnic area as others go over trail obsticles but you can also see all the way down to the Pacific Ocean/Monterey Bay.

It's really quite an amazing spot.

The course has been initially laid out by Mike Serpe and Peter Judy and will continue to be improved as we get closer to the date to provide some interesting obsticles (logs, stumps, ditches, etc.)

There will be nothing too crazy, as we want to make sure that vehicles and people are safe. Safe driving habits will be enforced, and no speeding on the course. Participants will take turns driving, and riding along with others.

If you are interested in attending, please email Mike Serpe at mserpe@yahoo.com and he will respond with a sign up form and instructions/more details.

So far there are 15 MBCA members and 10 clubgwagen.com members, so space is limited, don't wait.
Also please ONLY respond if you are sure you are going to make it. Since space is tight it is not fair to take a spot and then not show up (except for emergency reasons)
