| looked at the GL this weekend
Stopped by our local dealer this weekend to check out the new GL for my wife. The thing is huge. She looked like a little kid in the driver seat, had a good foot+ of headroom. Rear power tailgate and seats are neat. Her only problem is she did not like the space between the seat and the door. She felt uncomfortable sliding out of the vehicle (she likes to jump right out). So I guess that eliminates the GL. We'll have to wait for the G320 CDI. She is also reinterested in the E320 CDI. Time will tell. |

The G320 CDI is supposed to be an extremely basic vehicle. If she wants a Mercedes SUV, have you tried looking at the G500 or any one of the ML's?
Otherwise, the E320 CDI is an excellent sedan. |

You know it's funny, the salespeople at the dealer are still denying the G. He said they are not sure about the G after 2006. We would love a basic G320 CDI. My wife is primarily concerned with reliability, diesel power and efficiency. If they had Euro delivery for the G the deal would be sealed. |

That's your job to figure out. Start a focus group. Maybe do some test marketing. I do like the pointed star idea. Opens the secret society to all pointed 3 members, not just the GL people. |

What you really want is to undertake a combination of both primary and secondry market research assessing both the qulatative and quantative components of your research assumptions and hypothesis,
