Just finished dropping in an om617a earlier this summer with the auto sedan trans. Runs great. Theres still a few small things I planned on finishing up such as replacing/repairing the gas tank and adding AC. There is a few small rust spots that I can get better pictures of when I get home, is beginning to bubble under paint in rear quarters, front pass fender, rockers, and the floor pans also have rust. Engine mounts are from G Wagen Preserve, has electric fan, tach adapter, and had the straight pipe exhaust ran out below pass fender along side frame and back exiting before rear tire(sounds great) I'll let this thing go for a very reasonable price if sold soon, or trade for a Jetta TDI so I can save on traveling expenses I will be making back and forth to east coast. Clean title. Imported by Europa. Asking $9800 Located in Biloxi,MS Call/Text 228-860-4027 or email mgarcia1218@gmail.com Pics wont post, its black with black wheels and black recaro seats.

Sorry to all for late responses and lack of more pictures. I have been on the road and I'm just now getting settled in back on the coast after catching up with other job related tasks. Hopefully I can have more pictures this evening if I make it home at a decent hour. After sitting for a few weeks, it cranked up fine and ran great for an evening beach cruise. I also drank a few beers and wrapped the exhaust with DEI last night, works miracles on keeping the temp down. Ive had several emails from individuals asking about my wrench turning experience. I'm not a certified mechanic, but for about the past 6 years I have been building custom offroad vehicles to compete across the US as well as swapping in Cummins 4BTs, VW 1.6 TDs, om617a, and Toyota 2.2 diesel engines into several rigs such as Jeeps, Samurais, Toyotas, and early Broncos. No, I am not a MB mechanic and until this vehicle have never owned one, but I do have alot of respect for German engineering which was my reason for taking on the project. I was under the assumption that my move would limit me on my toys; however, I found a house last minute with an actual shop in the back. With that being said, it is still for sale but there is no rush and I'm really considering trades for a Cabrio. I have a potential trade in line now depending on the individual's reply to my late email reply. Edited by GulfCoast280GE 8/29/2011 1:52 PM
