heat plugs

I took all my heat plugs out today One was a "Beru 11.5volt" one was a Champion CH68, 2 were Delphi 11volt, one was a bosch at slightly longer than the other and fatter too.
Does someone have the correct numbers and an idea of the best ones to use.

Re: heat plugs

I recently replaced my glow plugs with Berus. There are two types, thin and thick. Mine takes the thin ones, Beru part number: 0100221107 GV603 (or GV603 0100221107) - don't know if it's the same as yours.
They should be the same as those on the 300D - look here: http://www.adpdist.com/beru_glowplugs_application_na2004.pdf

Re: heat plugs

I use the Bosch. Whatever brand you select do all 5 at once and it will work like a new machine.

Standard MB is pretty efficient at about everything they make.
As Dai said take all 5 out at once and replace with new ones.

Re: heat plugs

I use Bosch as well. I think it is also important to use some anti-seize on the threads when you replace. A good idea to run a tap through the threads as well.

Glow plugs that work make a huge difference.
