I'm speculating that Mercedes actually expected this hose to be replaced after the initial wore out by cutting it off and using a 4mm line, Part #56 in the drawings, why they didn't' do that from the get go with just a female part at the bottom of the intake for everyone and or typical male out on a 90 I'm not sure. But the link you have is doing just that except they are using a 4mm connector to make the connection, VS the hard line called out in the drawing. I have some parts on order so with luck this wont be a issue. I will report back  | |
