Oil overflow pipe (the new white one) 3. new filter (just get pushed on - no screws or clips) --------------------- I'm sure we (the us members) can find an exchange for that price!..... Brand new exchange ones (incl. converter) cost 1600 to 2000 Euro here ... So I assume around that in $US over there .... I think ttaleric found a very cheap place ... otherwise wolfgang might have a few suggestions .....
Could you please be a little more precise about these updates... Maybe what part numbers I need to go and buy the benz dealership?? Thxs a million! I promise to take tons of pics for all you guys from beginning to end. | ||

It's for the 722.9 transmission (We all have 722.6xx ) , and I'm not sure if it's available for our transmissions and its used to check the level of the fluid instead of the dispstick!
I posted in the WIS section a list of all the modifications that I could find that were made for the 722.6 transmission. These were done as a result of multiple failures, and the analysis showed that improvements in these areas would prolong (not prevent) life of the transmission. Al, Nothing else I could see here that you could do without starting to take the transmission or ECU apart. Definately change that filter!
