| WTB: G500/500GE
I just missed the black G500 in Tucson and what I'm looking for is a G500 (preferably a pre-mbusa car though will entertain a nice sorted 02+ car). My preference is for a car with a brush guard (though not a must) and would prefer something other than black or silver though anyone selling any color g500 feel free to contact me as mechanical condition matters more than color. My limit on price is 30k though would prefer to be in the 20-25k range. Anyone with a g500 in that price range, post up or pm me. Thanks guys!

I'm not crazy on burgundy, but almost perfect. When I first saw it I asked myself wtf on the pricing. I'm really mad I missed Keith's black 99 as I had planned on picking it up this week or early next, oh well... |

Actually, if you look closely, it appears that they are ignoring all offers and allowing them to expire without a response. I know because I made one. |

As I've only driven a G500 how is the 320? Are they able to cruise comfortably on the highway at 80? I really would rather a 500 but that 320 is spectacular looking! |

This 320 engine is the same used in the most popular E320 sedans that Mercedes sold so many of. We had an E320 wagon that we drove for many trouble free years. This is the double overhead cam engine nothing like the earlier 320 motor. Very powerful propelled the big wagon easily.
Never driven one in a G.

The G320 is almost exactly the same as the G500, just missing two cylinders. You may want to focus on the G500 if there are any mountain passes near to you. |

The guys in Detroit are not all that apt to move that car, they've had it on and off the market a few times. I seriously considered it except for the lack of CARB cert. |

The Ebay listing has ended. If you look at the offers they ignored, the highest was $31k; which would have been the absolute high value for a 12 yr old truck imnsho. I'll bet they still have it. |

Take a look at the one Stu has for sale at Copley. The market is no where near that strong for that vehicle. I would think the market for that car is $26.5-$27k at most. PM me and I'll be happy to chat with you more about it. |
