Visiting the Baja 1000 Race 2012

Exciting trip down the Baja Peninsula and taking the ML on to the race course.......well next to it :-)

not quiet a G-wagen, but a step up from a minivan.

Nice shots. Is that tent in the first photo one of those free standing Danish Outwell flip to open tents? Easy to set up, but a bit tricky to close up and pack.

It must be something similar. I might take it onto G-wagenaccessories, as I liked it a lot.

It deploys very fast and easy, and I have not figured out how to re-pack it again correctly, but I could do it every morning a bit faster :-)

The Outwell tent version was provided as standard equipment for the now-defunkt Transsyberia Rallye participants. I have one for sale that I've never used. I'll email you a video that might help in closing it.

Actually it´s origin is the French Quechua 3 Seconds Tent, bought one on vacation in France more than 10 years ago
