All combat patrols will be transported in the LAV111's or the south African built Nyala 4X4 which have a V shaped armoured bottom to better deflect the blast of the mines buried under the roads. The taliban and Al Quaeda have been grouping in large numbers and clashing with CDN and Nato troops in the south as we are securing these areas." It was posted by a member of our community who has, apparently, not made it over here yet.

The name of the company is Force Protection. The larger "Buffalo" has a V-shaped hull for deflection of explosives. Production has been ramped up of late on both vehicles. Some great videos on their site.
