These types of links dont work at P3. I'll post it in two parts:

Might be a good idea to verify your vehicle has the wire harness in place before purchasing the Sirius for a 2004 163. There are some out there that have the sat button but are not pre-wired and vice versa.

Here is an excerpt from the 42 pages that might be helpful if you are thinking about it:

Which Vehicles Have It?
• All 2004 model year Mercedes-Benz vehicle have been pre-wired for satellite radio except:
– SLK (170)
– C-coupe (203)
– Certain VIN ranges of ML (163)
• C-coupe (203) & SLK (171) will be supported in MY 05
• ML (163) issue
– Some early production ML’s may only have SAT pre-wiring
– As of VIN A489208 ML’s are pre-wired and have updated MCS with SAT button

About 6 months ago I know it cost about $600 for the parts in the E class I have heard a few figures of $400-500 for the ML. I dont know how much you care about sound quality but XM>Sirius, I was going to get sirius in my ML but after hearing it decided to get XM.

For me I went with the XM commander which cost $50 ( found a deal online with a google search)

Then I got a fiberoptic converter made by soundgate, http://www.logjamelectronics.com/auxmb.html they have the best price of $260

So my total was $310 but I also added a 3 way switch so I have my Ipod that will play using the fiber optic converter and I have a spare aux in which I can use for anything.
