| FS - Mercedes Benz 280GE Gelandewagen G Wagon Gas Tank W460
For sale is a used original OEM Mercedes Benz steal gas tank for a W460 280GE Gelandewagen G Wagon. I started down the road to refurbishing it by first having a radiator repair shop dip it in one of their tanks for a few days to give it a thorough cleaning. However, shortly after I located another one overseas in almost perfect condition and opted to use purchase and use that one. This tank needs metal work around the seems in some areas as well as patch work for some tiny holes. The inside of the tank is in excellent condition with the slosh bucket in tact. See photos for more details.
Since this gas tank has been properly cleaned already, I have no issues shipping it as it does not pose an explosion risk. Local pickup is also an option if you prefer.
