| C3/C4 star machine
Laptop based system - refurbished dell latitude 630, multiplexer, cables. diagnostic software version 12.0.7.1 data version dvd 07/2013, WIS, etc. bought it a few months back and never used it. Paid $635ish shipped, sell shipped at $575. PM me here.

Which is it? C3 or C4? They are different. C3 is wired and C4 is wireless. |

as stated I have all the cables - C3. When I read the manual a while back I was under the impression it did wifi but thats an error on my part. Xentry diagnostics, all the stuff you need to be a cool MB type. |

I doubt if it will do anything on your G, since it is a mixture of technologies. |

Thx. I just bought an '00 G500! I was thinking it would be useful for and have full interaction for that vehicle.
I am totally new to Star and it's variations/models so any guidance is appreciated, especially if this system for sale has any important limitations.
Regarding the camper, other than the frame, suspension and body it is all 290GDT with complete 461 engine/dash/controls and electronics etc installed - no jury rigging in this area as far as I know. You don't think this system for sale would work for it?
The price seems nice but if it is nothing more than a fancy code reader then it doesn't seem so attractive at that price.

It works on my 2000 G500. It should work on your 1999/2000 G500. You connect to the 38-pin round connector under the hood. The OBD2 plug installed by Europa Int'l will not give you anything on the STAR/DAS system. It's for OBD2 codes only.
