| MazWest Veteran  Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: Benelux Vehicle(s): E220T, 250GD LWB Wolf Posts: 180  | FS rare long wheel base Wolf Up for sale is a 1985 long wheel base wolf 300GD with 250GD motor ( 90HP ) . The VIN number starts with 46032317035…, date of manufacture is the 21st of November 1985. The G has a little bit less than 150000KM on it. It was a radio G wagon which was converted to a fire department G, this is why it has this hardtop, it was a fast attack fire dept vehicle for the german army or maybe for the air force. I purchased it direct from the defense sales and performed the restoration myself. I hate to get rid of it but circumstances have changed. The G was restored 2.5 years ago for ca. 6 months and got new paint. After 2 years you would see bubbles or rust if the job was not done well. The G has blue grey big checked pattern recaro seats, plastic fuel tank, nice wooden floor in the back which was made on german army G only as far I know. The wolf has the 711.116 gearbox with the turtle gear and 5.28 ratio axles with front and rear lockers. Fold down windshield when the hardtop is removed. As it is an ex army vehicle it has the 24 volt system. The frame has been sandblasted, zinked and painted. No reason why it shouldn't last another 20 years.
