This mounts on the rear side of the G-class over the stationary reasr quaryter window. This particular unit is the prototype unit that I purchased some time ago and from Mr Volger. I have included pictures from his website to demonstrate positioning of the rack on the vehicle. This can be used for gas can or shovel axe mounting, or a combination of the two. I had planned to mount a gas can along with a shovel and axe, but the rack that I use on the rear of the vehicles precludes mounting of this item.
