Im a big fan of tirfor / griphoust winches for the same reason never lets you down and can pull from any angle unlike electric and can move from vehicle to vehicle as needed . as you know this is a massive subject with loads of ways to cover it but for me the kit has to work on the day.... Posts: 850 | Re: Started Packing TWODOGS - 6/4/2006 5:43 PM hmmm, nice one mate, The ground anchor is for when your motor is sinking in a Welsh bog and there is no trees or anchor points to to recover from with your winch , lay down the plate hammer in the pins fix you winch to the plate and your free ....you hope !!!
