Might be an air leak on the intake. Sometimes it's the MAF. But often MAFs are exchanged although they still work correctly...

Might not be the MAF. P0173 just indicates the fuel trim is at the limit value on bank2. With a dead MAF it would be at the limit on both sides usually and set P0170 AND P0173. It might be an air leak on one side for example, like a shrunken or slipped rubber seal. Here's some discussion:

Vacuum leak.
Connection problem.
Clogged air filter.
Might also want to have the adaptations reset with scanner.
Make sure you purchased the correct air mass sensor the for certain m112's and m113's(v6&v8) are identical besides the part number........
A common fault on the 163 is the air intake pipe connections, There is one connection in line behind the rubber boot gets loose over time and the one where the pipe connections to the actuator in the rear of the engine.
