Electronics or NOT ?

I have all these eletronics im my G500/06...i dont have them on my GE 300 92. Now i can say there is no difference in off road drive between them.Of course the 296 HP of the MB 500 can made difference in hard mud situations...but thats a good difference. With central diff lock both trucks remain the same( as Led Zeppelling song...LOL). In on road driving there is a lot of difference,,,,i like the GE classic way, but the G 500 is much better at 140 km/h or more, or in high spped turns.

My only dought is about the G 270 CDI 5 on line cylindres...i think i will miss it, more simple and realiable than a top turbo charged engine as the 320 CDI.

May be one day i will find a 270 in low price in Brasil...LOL

cherrs

Zé.

Lol there's no harm in dreaming, you'd be surprised to the number of people with old 460s that would jump at the opportunity to own a G55k if it presents itself :p
Also I feel the suspension on the 300GE is more comfortable than the 500, and the "fast" axles make for quite brisk acceleration to make up for the lack in power. And they are pretty simple to maintain (and change the plugs, a HUGE difference between the V8 and I-6!)
