I had to buy in quantity for a project I'm working one; and, as a result, have way more than I need. These are zinc plated steel with yellow chromate conversion coating threaded in M8 x 1.25. I have two different grips: 0.7mm - 3.8mm and 3.8mm - 7.9mm.
These are used to give you a fixed threaded M8 x 1.25 nut on sheet metal or metal with an inaccessible side, and are extremely simple and easy to install without a special tool.
