I have the orig. 16 in steel rims and was wondering what size, brand would work. Right not they are Pirelli Scorpians 215/80 R16 and are good road tires but really look kind odd on the G Any Suggestions

It's only real weakness is with mud because it doesn't self-clean like a full mud terraine tire will.

Whatever you do, be careful with bigger Tires, they will make your car slow. After good looking your car is still slow, you need a long time for the next tire change. I haven't had the chance to do any offroading with them, though. You should be able to get them in a comparable width and diameter as mine. 31x10,5R15 is the same as 255/75R15, so for your rims, you should look for 255/70R16. Johan-Kr

As for bigger tires making it slower, with a 2.3 L engine there is no such thing as slower

BFG AT's are rated as snow tires and are fantastic in the snow. Not too noisy on the road. Excellent tires for the G. I think they even look good. -Dai
