A bit of fiberglass repair and some pant could make it easily usable. FWIW, a new one without the end caps is US$1k unpainted. You can have it for US$50 plus the cost of shipping. My new replacement is still in the original box, so I do have a proper shipping container. It is still on the truck, so it would be a week or two before I could ship it.
