Is the R-Class popular where you live?

I've only seen two here since it debuted. I wouldn't say it's very popular here.

What about where you live?

I see about 10 a day. They are kinda popular, but in CA, everything is popular, so I didn't really answer the question

And to ake things more confusing, I live pretty close to a new MB dealer so.... uh......

They are kinda popular...

Haven't seen one on the road. Then again, I may have confused it with a Pacifica.

MB calls it a "Light Truck" ... but isn't it on an auto platform?

What's the difference btw the R-Class and a station wagon with black glass??

RE: Is the R-Class popular where you live?

While I see several in Huntsville, I just seen the first one in town here yesterday. It was an R350. I do believe that slow sales have made MB think of mothballing the production line and stopping the production of these un-popular vehicles. While I don't think they're ugly or anything, I do think they don't fit in to the MB line-up.

I live in Dallas and almost never see them. The weird thing is when I was looking at them back in November (I bought a G500 instead) the salesman told me he had sold 13 of them the first month so I thought I would see them everywhere but I haven't - the dealership uses them to pick up customers when their cars are being serviced so I have ridden in one several times - I think they are very nice just not what I was looking for- I didn't like the second seat having only two seats.

I finally saw one. But that has been it. Still say it is a Pacifica.

Now you can have 7 seater in 2008. Even better looking AMG bodystyling and18" rims that come standard.

It may be an ML - but it looks too much like a Pacifica.

It's built in the same factory as the ML and GL.  It's NOT built on an auto platform, that is.
