Bilstein Shock Absorber Question

I am thinking of replacing the original shock absorbers on my truck which now has 191,000 miles although they still seemed to be fine.
As you may know, Bilstein offers two different shocks for direct replacement.
The first one is supposedly of OE replacement which is the black, and the second one is supposedly upgrade to OE shock which is blue and yellow color.
I use the truck as daily drive mostly in cities, not much on off road.
Can anyone recommend which one will be better for my use?
Thank you,

RE: Bilstein Shock Absorber Question

I replaced my leaking shocks at 90K with the blue and yellow shock. My G500 is my daily driver and the ride is firm. Not spill a cup of coffee firm but firm enough you know you are not in a sedan. That said I am happy with them. I really try and support brand specific vendors many of whom contribute to these forums but for the Bilsteins I went to my local 4Wheel Parts and ordered them as the shipping on the shocks to Hawaii was a deal breaker.

Re: Bilstein Shock Absorber Question

I have the blue and yellow ones all around

If your shocks are really fine, I would not replace them unless you have too much extra cash to deal with

Re: Bilstein Shock Absorber Question

Although they seemed fine, the front passenger side shock had leaked but it dried out now and no more leak, I don't know if that's the sign of it's on its way out.
I found the blue and yellow for front at $115 and I thought that's a great deal, will buy them for now and install later.
Thank you for your comment.
