Engine issues - check after a flop over.

Say .... you flop your G over on its side, you know because you want to see the underside parts.

Once you have it back on the rubber, What if anything should you do before starting it?
Driving it?

Check the oil level for sure and other fluids but anything else?

Do mercedes engines have issues with the oil seeping into the combustion chamber?

This is directed towards a G500 but it applies to all G owners.

Re: Engine issues - check after a flop over.

Yes this happens and has happened to me as well.
Oil seeps into combustion chambers and there will be a lot of smoking for a period of time, maybe 20 min driving time. Check fluid levels right away and top up with what you have. Check everything. Engine oil, trans fluid, power steering, brake fluid, locker fluid levels. My car was mechanically fine, just needed a minor repairs to the pass side body. I drove the G home 1000 miles the next day. This was 3 years ago and I drive this car all the time, no sequelae.
