| Automatic gears question
I just drove a 300GD from 1986 whit a funny 4 speed automatic gear box. In This car the gears don’t shift up unless you take your foot out of the gas. It’s supposed to be a sports gear box. Dos same one have any experience whit it?

that sounds exactly like my mine but i didn't think it was a sports gearbox mine has actually just refused to change gear altogether at the moment and i have been informed by the other members that the trans probably needs the fluid and filter changed but before it stopped changing altogether the gear change into 3rd and 4 th gear almost felt like it had a slipping clutch
but i have to say i am just guessing |

You leave me wondering if there is same thing wrong whit this gear box. I do know that the engine (617A) and the gear box aren’t original. |
