RE: new pics from afgahn

Some more pics
First is my crew (21 Diamond)

Then its me and famopus hockey player Guy lafleur

There is also a pic of a g wagen without a turret as you can see the turret in the other posts really protects the gunners.

The last is the g wagen that hit an IED (refer to the above post for a clear pic)

...
Two brain injuries...

Thanks for the pictures... and for sharing your reality. Your unrelenting optimism is a great inspiration.

How are the other surviving crew mates doing?

RE: new pics from afgahn

Jeff has a brain injury and over the next two years we will figure out the final outcome.
he had a piece put back into his skull to comlete the shape of it.
Jeff is also missing two years of memory.
Will was behind me and he has a slight brain injury and is doing well in fact he is back at work.
Recently they did an MRI on Will and found a cyst on his neck...which means during the attack he broke his neck but not enough to hurt him...(prob the flak vest saved him)
Glen Berry died at the scene and of course i lost my leg and then over time had to have the left one amputated as well.

ptepaul,
It is still amazing how up you are and open about the whole thing.
I would hope that MB takes your sotry and you Love of the G to see just how much G owners love the product they make.
Words can not discribe what you have been through but you really have come out with an attitude like no other.
You my friend give us all hope in any situation in our lives that we may come across.
