Very Early G trials

I dug this out of my archives, a very early G circa 1980/81 on trials at the MOD test area Salisbury along with a Stonefield.

Thats a Stonefield, Built using a American 8Lt engine LR/ Salisbury axles FF transmission and was a complete disaster.
The G however whent into service in LWB and modified mode in BRIXMIS.
As seen in this pic.
