2. The seller reckons it's for a W163

3. The Seller states that it's 100% original manufactured by MB

4. This grill only exists on W164 vehicles

5. It's has a carbon look (MB don't make a carbon grill)

..... I am confused ! Something sure isn't right here !  .... I figure the seller just hasn't got his numbers right , and it's not a modified W164 grill.

..... The Carbon look is proof that this is not original.

The picture of the Front Grill is just a patter and don´t have to comply with your Front Grill.  <- must be the "patter" version?, heh,heh

If you´re interested please conform yourself at our mentioned classification (e.g. type W 211). <- you certainly need to "conform" it to make it fit a W163!

PS:  After reading the German (No funnies, or spelling mistakes here) , I conclude that it must be a German selling the Grills... Address indicates all items are stocked in Germany.

Also the german version seems to suggest it is indeed a OEM one that has had a carbon finish applied to it...... The are no crome strips on the edges though!.

It does say that the picture is a "sample" (not "patter") , and should/does not reflect  the grill being sold .... i.e he sells for all models ... this must mean that you will get an orginal W163 grill with carbon finish..... which is not a modified W164 grill!.......

I think he did a "DIY" mod on his german listing to get the english version!

Not worth even looking at ! I'd go for the other listing I made ... as C-Rod (I think it was C-ROD) pointed out , there is another site selling the modified W164 one for a W163!.
