RE: MLK

Other than the fact that the headlights remind me a little of the Honda Pilot, I like it.

RE: MLK

Yeah. The SUV that doesn't exist! At least that's what I was told when I personally spoke to a MB factory official about 5 weeks ago.

Re: MLK

The version that firstmb posted looks better.

So cmitch, you're saying they're not making the MLK?

Not at all. i just think it's amusing as hell that the factory guy denied it when I was discussing the tour schedule of the Vance, AL plant. I knew there had to be too much hype for it to be BS. He's probably told to deny it or maybe he really didn't know!

BTW, here's even another rear shot:

I agree, the design is more consistent to the new ML and GL

The version from cmitch, the front and rear picture is a bit different.. look at the rear passenger door and the rear passenger window (2nd row). The rear picture shown as if the window is extended (sort of like Audi cars), while the front picture doesn't show that.

Re: MLK

In cmitch's second pic, the front half looks so similar to the front half of the W163.

Re: MLK

I don't like how they're expanding too much. MB loses it's exclusivity, and I'd rather have the money be spent toward better quality control.

Yes, the MLK is planned for production at the C-Class plant in Bremen. I have no info yet if or when it comes to the US. For comparison the B-Class produced in Rastatt was planned for the US but then did not make it...

Re: MLK

I don't much believe any stores till there are spy photos. Any fool with a bit of skill can photoshop a believable image of a car on a road, but spy photos are much more reliable I think because spy photos come before any leaked road photos. I doubt seriously the MLK or the S convertable exist.
