EPC

I have finally received my EPC. I have been able to install it on my Windows XP Pro System, but it does not recognize my Windows 2003 Server system. It does not recognize the OS.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone have any idea how to get around this?

Re: EPC

I have found the fix. I had to install it under Windows NT4 Compatibility Mode.

I now have both WIS and EPC available. The EPC had around 8GB of data. It has just about every vehicle that I could think of: G-Wagons, Unimog, Sedans, everything...

Re: EPC

Electronic Parts Catalog. It has all of the parts listings and part numbers for all parts.

RE: EPC

I don't know if this is this is the root of your problem, but EPC must be installed BEFORE WIS.

Re: EPC

I was able to install it and it is up-and-running.
I did install WIS before EPC, but everything seems to be working fine. Is there anything that I would be looking for?

RE: EPC

Chuck,

What is the date of your EPC? We would like to upgrade to the 2006 version, if that version is "floating" around. The ones we've found have been the '04 version. If you have found otherwise, please PM me and let me know where to look.

TIA,

-SP

RE: EPC

It is not much difference between 2004 EPC and 2006 EPC
We use the latest version dated 05/2006 and it is almost useless if you work with a G-Wagen parts only.
It is really good for repair shop if you need some parts information for the latest Mercedes cars as a new W251 or GL-Class.
Mercedes update EPC every 4-5 month. Our previous version was 01/2006

RE: EPC

Hello Chuck,

is this a different EPS we have? Ours just have the 463 or 460 series on the disc, had to purchase a separate for the W210
