anyone know what is the part number for a 300GD 1985? Which other model of MB do they share the same part?

Contact Sean at Eurotruck about the parts. Every part; throwout bearing, disk, and cover is G specific and one of the most heavy duty well made sets I have ever seen. The construction of the disk is really amazing. I think the parts set was around $350 with shipping when I bought them through Europa a few years ago. The parts may be shared with the older van series possibly but not any cars.

i have replaced the clutch. it is working fine now.. hehehe... is the same clutch as the mb280

The disk on the left is the correct G part. The disk on the right is an automobile disk that I found in my G. Notice the small springs and it's hard to see but the diameter is smaller. The disk on the right was self destructing as it has wimpy stamped construction compared to the forged internals of the G disk. There are a lot of clutch disks that will fit in there.
