So off we went to Coney green a off road pay and play site to practice hill climes , decent's , side slopes ( I hate um ) vehicle recovery & failed hill climes all were the order of the day. a fantastic day was had by all followed by a trip to the local pub for beer the end to a perfect weekend . | TWODOGS Extreme Veteran Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: UK Vehicle(s): Norwegian Army 240GD Posts: 584 | RE: off road practice day I run steel rims and 7/50 16 Michelin XCLs as the G can cope with that size and there is less wear on the wheel bearings indeed its a factory fitted size, also steel rims are strong and available for my type of offroading its ideal .
