03 G500 A/C - one or two circuits??

It has been hot here in Souther California recently. I was out at my observatory in the desert this past weekend where it was close to 120F.
I had the AC temperature dials set at 64F for both sides, but it seemed as if the passenger side vents were blowing colder air than the driver's side. This was the case wether in Auto or Manual mode.

Does anyone know if the car is equipped with two independent AC circuits or just one? I ask as a friend with an Acura MDX claims his car has two seperate AC units - one for the front and one for the rear zones.

Thanks,
Leon

There is only one. Was it colder or just more volume on the passenger's side.?

Air volUme was similar, but noticeably colder on the passenger side. It was noticeable on the vents on the center section of the dash. The drivers side vent was also warmer than the passenger center vent. I didn't check the passenger side vent as I couldn't reach it :-)

I will conduct a more objective test with a thermometer later this week when I have more time.
