I checked the wires, switched, etc and power is getting to the PW assembly just fine; it all seems to be in good order. Any idea what might be wrong? Has anyone ever had the motor slow, slow and finally die? It was put in aftermarket and is made by Politecnica 80. I looked on their site and the motor for the G is an MB part number. Does anyone know if these were OEM? Any ideas before I go and buy a new PW motor would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

I took another look at the Politecnica 80 site and there is simply an MB reference number beside their own part number. However, for the life of me, I cannot find the window parts on the EPC to cross reference to. Still looking for ideas. Steve

The MB reference number may refer to parts from another model. I would try to disassemble the motor, clean and lube it. Chuck (Braingears) has done this with at least one of his; and it's been working like a champ from what he says. I think he even posted directions either here or on the old BW.

If Steve does not want your handcrank parts, can I have them? I have often thought about changing out my power windows with handcranks.
