gear shift trim piece needed asap!

Okay, the wood trim piece surrounding my gear shift has a gouge in it and it's been bugging me. I need to replace it with either a new or unmolested used piece but the stealership wants a whopping $75! The price is worth saving me aggravation, but I figured I'd do a search to see if there are any sources that may be able to give me a better price? It's the smaller trim piece that directly surrounds the gear shift - pops right out so I could replace it easily.

Does anyone have a good source for OEM parts either used or new for our G's?

Also, what is the part number for this particular piece? I forgot to get it from the parts guy last time I was at the dealership.

Need to know the year and model of your G, and where you're located. Please fill the appropriate parts of "My Profile". Thanks.

Done and done.

Reason needed is that there are many versions of the center console and the gearshift lever.

I've found that dealers vary all over the map when it comes to pricing for the same part. You might want to check with a different dealer; and get the P/N at the same time.

There are several cheaper sources for parts. Here's a couple:

....Does anyone have a good source for OEM parts either used or new for our G's?....

I've had great results the past few years working with Sean at http://www.eurotruck-importers.com   Just ordered a few things from him today as a matter of fact.  He's pretty close to your neck of the woods too (he's in GA) so shipping should be quick on stuff he has in stock.  Give him a call at 770-965-3311.  Have your VIN ready and he can look up the part and shoot you a price.

Good luck!
