High-pitched squeaking when going over slightest bumps

Did a search on this as well but not clear on the specifics.

My truck emits a high-pitched squeak whenever I go over the slightest bump. It sounds like it's coming from the interior - or at least NOT the drivetrain or chassis. I read on here that many of these develop rattles and the cure seems to be WD40 or Vinylex (sp?). Will this solve my woes too?

Are the rattles many are experiencing high-pitched like mine? It doesn't sound like the door hinges would make this sound but I could be wrong?

Why not try it and see if it solves your problem. It's easy and it's cheap.

I will try the solutions suggested but just wanted to confirm if the sounds I'm hearing are the same "rattles" that many experience. It'd definitely eliminate some of the headache for the search - especially since I am usually the only passenger in the car and crawling around to the back to diagnose while driving over bumps is getting a little dangerous

Want to give my other thread a shot?

The leather on my rear seats squeeks when they rub against each other over bumps. I don't know if that's what you are hearing. For me, it's a truck so I just ignore it. I goes away when I apply leather treatment.
