I'm extremely happy.

I can finally talk to you guys about things from first hand experience. Started practicing driving a week ago.

EDIT: And that's how that "steering wheel" thread popped up.

Congratulations, AsianML.

BTW, you observed correctly, the ML does have less steering wheel centering forces than some other vehicles. It's connected to the steering geometry of the front axle which due to being an offroad vehicle has less caster.

Congrats AML.

How did you like it? The parents going to pass down the ML to you? Sounds like a good idea to me!

It was awesome. Except I almost ran the ML over a huge curb.

My dad said that if it's still in good condition by then, the ML is mine!

You mean you almost ran over a huge curb in the ML? hehe, just busting your balls.

Sounds good man! That would be awesome for you to get the ML!

You just started 'driving'? Now, that's just not true! You've been driving us crazy for the last year! :bleh:  Just keep the ML between the ditches, dude!

Re: I'm extremely happy.

The ML is the best car to learn to drive on and a great 1st car. I learned to drive on the 2000 ML which later became mine. I can say by having a 4wd car it saved my but plenty of times. Along with the fun of driving over stuff like sidewalks and just going offroad when you are a teen is fun. When you learn to drive on your own just remeber this 1 rule only hit the gas 100% when you are pointed strait I have seen to many retards lose it and almost die because of spining out ext.

Hmm, no wonder my insurance rates just went up!  LOL!  Seriously, be thankful you are learning to drive in such a great vehicle.  I learned to drive in a 1965 Chevy pickup with “three on the tree”.  My left calf is still larger than the right from all the exercise it got working the clutch.  I actually had to lift a butt cheek off the seat to get enough leverage the clutch pressed in, and I was a big guy even then.

Congrats AsianML. Maybe one day we can race. I hope I will have my S600 by that time.
