Functions for that little hook?

If I may; I'm curious about what clever
uses are being employed for that little hook on the
seatback. Was it actually intended for hanging shirts
fresh from the dry cleaner's? Maybe for hats that don't
mind being squashed. Myself, I hang a pair of sunglasses
that have one of those what-do-you-call-it-necklace-type
things attached. With top down and parked on a cloudy
day or at night, I don't worry about my sunglasses being
seen and then never by me seen again.

Do you mean the hooks you add the net rear windscreen to?  it goes over the roll bars and onto those hooks.

I think bclark means the small hooks that come molded on the back panel of the seats. So far, I've only hung my coat that has a small loop sewed at the back part near the collar. I guess I'm as boring as roomie.

Sweet. . . with seat back in driving position, your
suit jacket gets pressed en route to the power lunch.

My seat back scrapes the plastic back panel as it is with that little hook, if I had a suit it would tear it!

Admittedly, I was looking for some imaginative, not necessarily
all practical suggestion. Where's the romance on this forum, I ask?

You may respond, how can a little hook be romantic without being illegal?

Well, there are few things as romantic as driving
your SLK with your spouse/partner/s.o. in the passenger's seat
with the topdown as the sun sets. Now, imagine you've hung a
necklace, bracelet, ring-on-a-string (as opposed to soap-on-a-rope),
or some other jewelry item on that little hook on the driver's side
(if it hasn't snapped off). You're driving on a winding road (or,
if necessary, a bumpy road, or, worse case scenario, stop and go
traffic--the point is to create rattling against the seatback).

(To be continued. . .)

"I wonder what that noise could be?"
"Might be the fuel pump."
"Sounds like it's coming from the seat."
"Airscarf malfunction."
"No, it's bumping against the seat."
"Notorious seat belt banging."
"You're WEARING your seatbelt."
"Hum. . .why don't you check it out."
". . .Oh my! How sweet! I can't believe it. You are the best."

You can use your imagination for the rest of the story (be sure to
pack a blanket). . .

Reallife. . .there you are. It took a hallucinatory message to conjure you up from being
lost in cyberspace. BTW, you didn't answer my question, what do YOU do with that little
hook?

Guys, hope you were all paying attention - soap-on-a-rope is not a good gift for your significant other, she prefers to be wetted down with Zanio!!!!!

You could store a condom or two under the hook but you'd have to bail out of the car to use one unless you are an acrobat.
