| SLK vs. Enzo
"Auto Spies" has posted a video of an unsanctioned highway run between a Ferrari Enzo and an SLK with an SLR engine. The video was done in Dubai. Stills of the car appeared several months back on "Benz World." It's only about a minute long, but the sounds are great, and the view of the rear end of the SLK from the passenger seat of the Enzo is combined with the Enzo driver stating that he has reached 160 and then 165 mph. Pretty heady company for an SLK! This one (the SLK) is the mother of all musclecars!  Dinoman |

This seems to be a hot topic everywhere on car forums, from Audi to Zonda forums. The SLK has the SLR engine (617bhp). Ferraris owners argue that the SLK might still win but not by that margin since the Enzo beats the SLR which suppose to have a light carbon fiber body. The SLK although smaller isn't that much lighter and from the sound of the engine it didn't seem like the enzo tried that hard and it was not on 'race' mode. Those seems to be the arguements, but noone dispute that the SLK is a beast on the road. |
