e-box fan

So I just cleaned out the e-box fan, and when I put it in I noticed it "jiggled" a little while in place. I didn't pay attention to this before, is it supposed to "jiggle" a little while it's in?

If it's plugged in properly to the two air pipes and the two clips are fixed it's OK, I don't remember it being loose after I put it back.

Did you see the pictures and procedure on:

Yeah, that's what I used as a guide to get it out.

It's kind of loose like a loose tooth would be.

The important thing is that it is plugged into the two pipes properly, if it is still a bit loose then that is not much of a problem.

When re-installing the e-box fan, I accidentally pushed it too far down (or maybe it was not positioned correctly) the bottom pipe and it squealed - sounded like the fan was hitting something. After positioning it better a second time, all is quiet.

After the correct positioning, the fan sits solidly in the e-box, no movements.

But I have a 99MY ML so my e-box might be a little different than yours.

Re: e-box fan

Who has the link to the place that sells e-box fans? If they can deliver straight to my house, it'd be a lot more convenient than driving 40+ miles round trip to get it from the dealer.

Thanks.
