Is there a air distribution vent not opening to allow air back to rear of centre console I checked WIS docs couldn't find any thing. Thanks Cliff

RE: Centre Console Air Conditioner

Make sure your button on your rear air is set on 'Auto'. According to my owners manual on page 117, if the auto light is out, then the rear air can be manually set to be warmer or cooler than what you have the front set on. On 'auto', it will conform to your front settings and all you set in the rear is the speed of the blower.

Not so. If the rear is in 'Auto', whatever settings are at the front, that's what you get at the rear. Nothing more, nothing less. If the rear is in 'manual', you can only adjust fan speed and which vents the air blows out of. In manual mode temperature is still dependent on front temp. settings.

Had both in auto and on coldest possible still warm air in back. I had to pull centre console out, coins fell out of front ash tray and jamb open I checked rear blower and vent that opens up for floor or console vent and all seems to be working. Is there another vent opener under dash to feed rear? thanks Cliff
